Honey Day Care Services

About this provider

I provide a Day Care Service three days a week. I will pick up and drop off to your home. During our six hours out, we may go to friendship groups, dementia cafes, places if interests, cafes, restaurants, garden centres, shows, etc. It all depends on the weather as to where we go and what we do. Every day is different, and I take into consideration personal choice and interests. I only take out three people per day as I have found by experience people with dementia are more comfortable in small groups.
I will initially do a Needs Assessment as I need to know as much as possible about the person I am taking out and how best I can support them to have a comfortable and uplifting day out proving companionship and care and a sense of purpose and usefulness to each individual. This service also provides respite for family members.
As well as my Day Care Service, I also offer a Companion Service which may be to support a person to do things in the community that they can’t do on their own. I also provide a sitting service where I can come and stay with a person during the evening if the family need to go out for social events or meetings etc.
I am on the DBS updated service, I am trained and experienced, and I have public liability. I can also provide you with references and have over 12 years experience in these services.
